Buenas días chicos, another morning has broken – giving us more chances and moments of happiness. 🙂
One of these great moments in life for me was related to Alexis’ expired driving license: After thousands of driven kilometers, trips to Neustadt, the Steinhudermeer and (for sure) Ikea, it was finally time to quit my life as a chaufer. With great anticipation, we arrived to the office in the center of Metepec, all went down as expected and there it was: my peace of mind.
But honestly: it actually will lead to more flexibility. Maybe I stay longer at work and she can directly pick me up to go somewhere; she can visit some friends without paying 7,20€ for the 2 zones Uestra round-trip; or on a longer trip we might substitute each other – and you know: as DJ, the passenger provides the most sick beats…
To celebrate, we invited Alexis parents and sister for some pizza to “La Cletta“. The place was amazing! A long narrow corridor, painted in pastel colors, cozy and featuring cool pieces of inventory. Also it had, obviously, decorative vintage spare parts of … (ok take your guess) … bicicletas (you smarty pants 😉 ). Ok – it was a bit hipster, but we enjoyed it!
After coming home we had, as late lunch, Huauzontles which is Amaranto plant filled with it’s seeds, Panela cheese and Pasilla (chile) sauce.
Too much food, right? Time to visit Metepecs’ new mall Town Square. As it was brand new we really enjoyed it’s concept. Open, spacious, modern, very green and just beautiful. Even tough many stores were yet to be opened, there were plenty of open ones, a food court and a lot of people enjoying the harmony.
Lastly, we took a stroll, visited our favourite-of-all-time Ciudado con el Perro and had some café/chai latte at Cielito, a mexican competitor of Starbucks.
